Young bird racing 2026 REMINDER
No old birds in first 2 races (this is not detrimental against Old Birds but just to make sure we have room for young birds)
Early bred darkness cocks are Cocks hens and don’t know are Hens
We will start with a minimum of 18 birds per crate all sexes the same (all part crates will be topped up)
IF TEMPERTURES EXCEEL 30C THE RACE WILL BE CANCELLED
We will not be flying from Malton on the 8th August this is a super market Car Park not suitable for Liberations especially after 8.00
The likely replacement is Bubwith but I ask all secretaries to get distances for Caythorpe 4255 this is a new site and recommended by all who have used it. (This race point could come into play as HEAT, Young Bird Sickness or the need for a shorter race)
All leagues will run from first Race and will continue on from old birds.
The Young bird Knock out will start week 2
THE CLUB WILL AGAIN BE HOLDING ITS ANNUAL LATE BRED SALE AND GET TOGETHER ALONG WITH A FREE BUFFET AND RAFFLE IN LATE AUGUST I. AM AWAITING DISS TOWN F.C. FIXTURES TO COME OUT TO FIND WHAT WEEK NIGHT IS AVAILABLE. IN THE MEANTIME PROMINENT FANCIERS AND WINNERS WHO HAVE A LATE BRED OR TWO TO SPARE WOULD BE MOST WELCOME ANYONE OUTSIDE THE CLUB WHO MAY REAR A SPARE YOUNG BIRD WILL BE MADE MOST WELCOME.
