A view from the secretary
After some warm days early in the week Friday night marking turned out to be a cold night but thanks to you all things went reasonably well for the first race especially with a different Transporter. we had few part crates and all 931 birds went on with plenty of room for more.
Saturday thanks to the RPRA not informing us of the change of lock combination none of the Transporters could access site till we got someone out of bed as it turned out it was a horrible morning so made little difference in the end.
As to the race itself this turn out to be a fast one with the highest vels North of the A47 Allan Wragg at Flegg Stalham to be correct had the top 2 on 1833,1830 Ryan White down at Kessingland had the longest flying bird to hit 1800s on 1818 Brian & Allan Lake have the first into the City on 1810 at Horsford with Franni Peruzzi with 2 close on his heels 1803,1800 Woods & Batch L1 just miss the 1800s on 1798 most other club winners were in the high 1700s returns considering first race and a late lib were good with a few away at dark. I have noted the clubs that need extra crates and they will be coming in the next week or two
The loft K.O. starts next week with 57 members sending this week from a possible 100 + there will be a lot of dead wood in the draw or hopefully more send next week Retford.
.
I WOULD ASK YOU PUT 20 HENS AND 18 COCKS IN THE EARLY RACES JUST TO BE ON THE SAVE SIDE ALL CRATES WILL BE TOPPED UP I ONLY EXPECT 2 PART CRATES FROM ANY CLUB
THE LEAGUE WILL START FROM THE FIRST WEEK AND THE LOFT K.O FROM WEEK 2 AN UPDATE OF THE LEAGUE WITH THOSE PROMOTED AND RELEGATED AND THOSE RESIGNED CAN BE FOUND ON THE WEBSITE
I WILL ATEMP TO GIVE A QUICK OVER VIEW OF THE RACE EACH WEEK
